The Hughenden Boutique Hotel is a 36 room Victorian heritage hotel located on the edge of the CBD area of Sydney, near major tourist attractions such as the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney Football Stadium, Centennial Park and Fox Studios. The Hughenden Hotel offers excellent accommodation, modern and relaxed dining/both inside in the Conservatory and Alfresco/, small conference facilities and an experience in the Arts. Each room is individually decorated. The Hughenden /circa 1870/ is associated with Australia*s first philosopher and is situated at the gateway to the largest expanse of turn-of-the-century Victorian architecture in Australia. The hotel was built by Dr. Frederick Harrison Quaife and named after Benjamin Disraeli*s home in High Wycombe England. Guests are invited to wander through the corridors discovering the hand-wrought grand staircase, black marble fireplaces, The Glasshouse Conservatory where tea and coffee are served, and the servants* bells with all the eccentricities of the past.
